How to play

Pick one horse in each of the eight races. Tick a horse twice to mark the NAP. Press Enter. The entry stays open until you pay for it in the usual way. You can change your horses until staff confirm the payment, and until the deadline. After that, the card is locked. When staff confirm the payment, you are in the game. One entry per account.

Points

1st scores 5.
2nd scores 3.
3rd scores 1.
Any other finish scores nothing.

The NAP scores those points as well, plus 2 more if it wins. A NAP that finishes 2nd or 3rd keeps the place points and does not get the extra 2.

If your horse is a non-runner, the race favourite runs for you. If that favourite wins and the race is your NAP, the extra 2 still counts.

A dead heat for first scores 4 each. A dead heat for second scores 2 each. A void race scores nothing, and the other races still count.

The board updates as each race is resulted. The total is final when every race is in.

Prizes

Only included entries are in the game. Each game type has its own split of the entry fees:

The figures on the game are the live amounts. The highest score takes 1st. A tie covers one prize place for each player on that score, and those players share the money for every place it covers. Only three places are paid. Two players tied for first share 1st and 2nd, and the next score takes 3rd. One winner with two players on the next score pays those two as joint 2nds, sharing 2nd and 3rd, so there is no separate 3rd.
